Belkin has managed to make the WeMo smart Wifi plug even smaller than the previous models of it. No wonder they have even given it a new name WeMo Mini, which fits the smart plug perfectly. The plugs new size is only 3.8 x 2.4 x 1.4 inches meaning you can easily stack two of them on each other.

Making it look like your house is lived, thus giving you better protection against burglars and other criminals. You can also control your Nest thermostat with the WeMo app making it a breeze to control your home’s temperature.
One thing we need to point out is that the WeMo Mini doesn’t have an energy tracking which would be a nice little addition to make this device even more useful.
Using the WeMo app is a breeze. It’s easy to set up your WeMo plugs. You can also name each one making it easy to remember which one is which. You can get the app for Android from Google Play or Apple’s App Store for iOs.
Turning each device on and off is super simple. Just tap on the power button icon and the device will almost instantly turn on or off. It really doesn’t get easier than this.
As mentioned earlier you can even schedule each plug to turn on or off at specific times, but there are so many more other options to use as well. Each making your home a bit more smart, thus giving you the smart home experience.
Since WeMo is plugged directly to your outlet it doesn’t have a batter and won’t be needing one.
