Apple has brought amazing phones, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max on the market, but as always not everything is perfect. They have had their fair share of problems and here are the five most common of them and how to solve them.
iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max users have reported some problems with the Wi-Fi. There haven’t been any official updates why users are facing this problem.
One possible fix for this problem is resetting your network settings. You can do this by going Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If you are still facing problems after this you can try the second solution which is downloading the iOS 12.0.1 or newer version where Apple has been reported on fixing this issue. Most people have noticed that for some reason the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max had connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi which is much slower than the 5 GHz, but updating your iOS should fix this problem.
Bluetooth connectivity problems
Some users have had some trouble using the Bluetooth on iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Thankfully fixing this is quite easy. Simply go to Settings > Bluetooth and try restarting your Bluetooth. If this doesn’t work then you’re a bit out of luck unless you can download the iOS 12.0.1 or newer.
Battery draining quickly
Battery draining seems to be a common problem with new phones and iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are no strangers to this problem. Unfortunately, it’s hard to pinpoint if its an app or just a bad battery that is getting drained. All you can do is check your own usage and try to pinpoint if its a certain app that could be draining your battery or does it drain out quickly even in normal use which could mean you can change your phone under warranty.
iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max not charging
A major problem people are facing with their new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max seems to be that their new phone isn’t charging. Some say their phone is charging only when it’s awake and some say it doesn’t charge at all. Thankfully this seems to be an iOS 12 problem that is fixed by Apple when you update for phones iOS version to 12.0.1.
Beauty filter effect
This effect has really ground some users gears. iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have a bad habit of adding a beauty filter effect to their photos which some users are not liking. Unfortunately, there seems to be no fix for this photo effect so all we can do right now is to wait for Apple to allow us to change it to OFF-mode.
